R&D Internship

Glycostem is offering full-time internships for skilled, highly motivated, proactive, flexible and open-minded talents to support us and our goals. 

We are an international biotech company with more than 50 employees based in Oss, driven by the knowledge, skills, and teamwork of 15+ nationalities.

Together we research, develop, and manufacture new therapies to create unique value with the ambition to cure cancer in a sustainable way.

Are you the one we are looking for?

You are a student, who is enrolled in a higher educational program (MBO, HBO, bachelor, master or equivalent) and take specialisation in biomedical sciences, molecular life sciences, biotechnology or an equivalent life sciences specialisation? 

You are seeking for a full-time internship position or graduation project.

You will be embedded into Glycostems’ research and development projects related to cell culture optimization and product pipeline development. If you are highly talented, you could even get insights into our cell production processes. Based on your quality and expertise, specific projects will be chosen.

You will gain hands on practical experience and theoretical knowledge, with additional guidance to complete your project report, through this internship.

You should, just like us, always strive for the best and most preferably be a natural team player, always eager to learn and have:

  • Excellent English language skills 
  • A minimum of 7 months commitment, longer periods are preferred
  • Previous work experience in a laboratory is preferred (cell culture, PCR, molecular techniques, …)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and internet/web-based applications; and
  • Strong social and communication skills.
